Mission: The Sunshine League Children’s Home is a child-centered, family focused, community based organization that provides quality, therapeutic care to displaced children, and promotes traditional family values.
Today, the Sunshine League Children's Home is a Registered Charity that has been in existence for over 90 years. The organization recently transitioned out of residential foster care in order to support the wider scope of displaced children on the island.
The Sunshine League now provides financial assistance for education, camps, music and dance lessons, along with other activities that will enhance the lives of foster children. The organization also promotes foster parenting, provides financial support to families that care for foster children and assists children as they age out of the foster care system.
Part of the League's rich existence has been greatly enhanced by the philanthropic spirit of the community. We are incredibly grateful for all past and future contributions and remain wholly committed to ensuring that no child in Bermuda will be left homeless, or in an abusive or unhealthy living environment.
These are Bermuda's children. An investment in them is an investment in the future of our island.
